Do sokownika podłączamy wężyk - Np. wiśnie mogą być z pestkami a porzeczka z szypułkami, ale umyte a może nawet wymoczone w wodzie z sodą.
Jeśli chcemy wykorzystać potem owoce na dżem, to trzeba je wydrylować lub oszypułkować. - Napełnij Varomę maksymalnie 2 kg owoców (lub warzyw), umieść na przystawce i zamknij pokrywką Varomy
- Włączyć 60 min/Varoma/obr. 1 w zależności od rodzaju i ilości owoców
- Zatrzymaj proces gotowania, gdy z węża przestanie wypływać sok.
- Ogólna zasada: miękkie owoce są zwykle całkowicie wyciskane po 30-40 minutach, podczas gdy twardsze owoce mogą potrwać do 60 minut.
- Cukier wymieszać z owocami, bo posypany na tylko na wierzchu spowoduje to, że pierwszy sok może nie być "posłodzony"
